About this blog

Here is my blog on everything and anything to do with travel. I was two years old when I caught the travel bug and am proud to say that nineteen years later, I still have it!

I am a senior broadcasting student, who in the spring of 2011 studied abroad in Dublin Ireland.  While living there for 4 months, I learned new customs, met new people, and discovered places that I never thought existed. I’ve traveled most of the time growing up going to Australia and Europe multiple times.  However living there gave me an even better experience that I will treasure forever.

Now you may be thinking why is this blog called what it is called? Well it is from when my friend and I went to Portugal over spring break. Whenever we didn’t know which way to go, or what to do, we asked ourselves “What would Magellan do?” and it just stuck and have been using the saying ever since!

To learn more about me,  check out my other blog (which will be up pretty soon) entitled My Jungle to see what other interests I have besides travel!
